Squire John's

Background

Squire John's is a winter sports retailer that has been in business for over 50 years. They have a brick-and-mortar store in Collingwood, Ontario, and wanted to expand their reach by building an online presence.  The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need to have more than a digital catalogue. With no checkout or digital payment system attached to the site, Squire John's was stuck taking payment by phone. They approached us to build their website.

Problem

Squire John's had no prior experience with e-commerce and needed guidance on how to set up their online store. They also needed help with the design of the website and creating product categories that made sense for their customers. Squire's had recently upgraded their POS system to Lightspeed but weren't sure which ecommerce solution to pick.

Solution

We built Squire John's website on Shopify, which allowed them to easily manage their inventory and process orders. We integrated it with their Lightspeed POS and warehouse inventory system. We worked closely with the category managers to create intuitive product categories that made it easy for customers to find what they were looking for. We also designed the website with a clean and modern aesthetic that reflected Squire John's brand.
